The Zodiac
art by Kagaya

Are you a baby boomer?  Part of the sandwich generation?  Trying to juggle your life including
kids, parents, grandkids, job, husband, career, house, finances?  Not enough hours in the day ?  Do you  get any quality time for yourself?  Are you stressed out?  Forget things?  Misplace things?  All the feminine mindset is that we are suppose to do it all however, we are really not hard wired to do
so in today's crazy world!  I believe that as women we have a natural desire to please everyone.  We sacrifice, we compromise, we drop in bed exhausted.  We can stand united and help each other.  There are those of us looking for another way.  Whether it be in changing our own lifestyle or just getting a little bit of help now and then.  In other words, women helping women.  Some of us need to change our lives in order to improve the quality thereof.  There are some of you that like you life the way it is but need extra help to "catch up" or maintain.

Then there are parents.  What do we do with them?  How do we have the time for them?  As we get older so do they.  Their needs are different, but yet ours are more hectic.  There seems to be a missing link when it comes to them.  What insurance won't pay, and what the state won't pay.  But, there is a compromise.  Allowing someone to be there for the things you don't really have time for.  Or helping with yours so you can be there for them.  Either way that works.  You cannot be there all the time, running back and forth makes you crazy, and unfortunately somewhere it takes it's toll.

There is a solution.  I took the summer off this year to take care of my special needs daughter and to taking care of ailing parents and rehab my house for purposes of selling.  They needed everything done as I have not been able to be there enough over the years with working.  Guilt set in, and I took a leap of faith to make it right for everyone.  Because I was never able to get to it, it involved landscaping, sorting, throwing out, new furniture organization etc. etc.  I realized after the months went by and it was time to return to work, that I wasn't ready to quit!  I wasn't finished.  I felt disheartened because I was going back to that catch 22 lifestyle again.

After returning, I realized my heart wasn't in work anymore, but a desire to finish my projects and give a better quality of life to everyone.  I know that I am not the only one in this place, not knowing how to do it all.  This is how this idea came to be.  Women helping women working together, with and for each other.  Using the female energies together in a common goal to improve our lives.
